Compatibility with company-managed and team-managed project types.

TeamBit Priority Matrix app is only compatible with company-managed projects and not compatible with team-managed project type. If you only use team-managed project type, the project list will appear empty.

Which projects do the Priority Matrix applies with free app version?

You can choose to which projects the Priority Matrix should be applied: single, multiple or all projects. That said, the free app applies global matrix settings for chosen projects.

I set up the matrix but the priority is not changing for particular project. Why?

Before troubleshooting in the app settings, see if some automation changes priority to another value and turn off the automation, or modify it so it won’t change the priority. There is another question in this FAQ that answers this question about the Automation rule in detail.

  1. First, if event types are set to your desired action when the priority should be updated.

  2. Then, check if the issue type chosen applies to your project in mind.

  3. See if Custom field contexts are set up properly, maybe the issue type or project settings are missing in the context.

  4. Check if the matrix is all set up for your corresponding custom field values

  5. If everything checks out, please contact us via the customer portal.

After setting up the priority matrix the priority is different than I have set up.
  • Check if automation is changing the priority in the History tab and if the Automation rule is triggered in the Automation section.

  • Check if the app changes the priority in the History tab.

  • If the Automation rule changes the priority after the Priority Matrix app updates it, turn off or modify the Automation accordingly, otherwise, it will keep updating the priority field.
