Troubleshooting guide
In this guide, some steps are provided on how can you troubleshoot if the app seems to be not working.
Be completely sure if the project and issue type are selected in-app configuration scope
Check if the correct fields are selected as it is possible to have multiple fields with the same name. In the example provided below one field is added later than the other. You can check with the custom field ID.
Check if the automation rule is turned off that updates the priority. Priority Matrix app works faster than automation rules and updates the field more quickly thus resulting in the automation rule changing the priority later to the previous value.
Check the History of the issue if the app changes anything after the user updates the custom fields. Try checking after a few seconds also to see if there are any changes by other users or automation rules.
Check the issue permissions to be sure that correct Edit issue permissions are set. The role “Project Role (atlassian-addons-project-access)” is mandatory.
Check the issue security settings. If issue security settings apply to the issue and the role “Project Role (atlassian-addons-project-access)” is not added to the security level this might impact the performance.
